The Slappies started fast , taking a 3-0 lead in the first, as X-Man, Lich, Buck and Marty greeted the previously unhittable Chappie with 4 straight hits top ignite the rally. The Spapps would take a 4-zip lead in the 3rd, plating Xman who reached with a leadoff double. Gdik, Supe, and Termie held down the Slappies pretty much the rest of the way, and rallied for 4 8th inning runs to take a 5-3 lead into the 9th. Marty led the Slappie 9th with a double and scored 2 batters later as Cat reached on a Chappies error.With the tying run on second, Benji fouled off several tough 2-strike Termie pitches, before baggieing to Supe at short to end the game. This time the Chappies took a 4-0 lead on the Slappies and the Slappies played catch-up. Big 3rd inning ribbi hits by Gdik and Fog led a 3-run rally for a 3-zip lead. A Chap ribbi in the 4th was good for a 4-0 lead. BeeDee , Benji and X led a 2 run Slappie uprising in the 5th to cut the deficit to 4-2. Each team scratched another run, but Lich and Termie shut down the offences and the Chappies held on for a 5-3 victory and a sweep of the series.
